Others spend their lives building something worth singing about.At 38 years old, Cade Thurstin is a Texas-born Southern rock artist with calloused hands, an old-school heart, and a voice that carries more stories than he's willing to tell.Born and raised in Shenandoah, Texas, Cade has spent his professional life working as a contractor. He's a man who knows the value of an honest day's work, a firm handshake, and keeping his word. Most days you'll find him in worn jeans, work boots, and a cowboy hat pulled just low enough to leave a little something to the imagination.But underneath that rugged exterior is a man with a surprisingly tender heart and a lifelong love for music.It wasn't until three years ago that Cade discovered what would become his second passion: singing. What started as a way to unwind after long days on the job slowly became something much bigger. With no grand plans of becoming a recording artist, he simply started putting a voice to the experiences, emotions, and stories he'd carried with him for years.His sound blends the grit of Southern rock with the raw power of modern alternative rock. Deep, smoky, and unmistakably masculine, his raspy vocals tell stories of heartbreak, loyalty, love, regret, and finding the strength to begin again.Cade isn't interested in pretending life has always been easy.
